Batman vs Avengers: the battle for the box office  cracked: Will Dark Knight Rises be able to beat Marvel’s Avengers at the box office? We have no opinion either way, but we made you this poster anyway. The thing with Avengers is, nobody was expecting it to be that good, nothing but an entertaining excuse to eat popcorn in a theater, so as soon as word of mouth spreaded, everyone wanted to see it, and of course nerds like me went at least two times to watch it. Nolan, on the other hand, is a serious filmmaker, and expectations are much higher since before it began production. Good news is that, as far as I’ve read, it didn’t disappoint. So no matter who turns out victorious between Whedon and Nolan’s films, it’s gonna be a close call, and it’s a battle we all have won already.
